I have the service manual, and it looks like replacing the keyboard is
something I could do. Alas, I don't have a spare eMate keyboard lying
around, and I don't want to send the eMate back if I can avoid it. What
I want to do is to "remount" the spacebar properly. This is not
addressed in the manual, and I don't know if it is even possible. Has
anyone else had an experience like this?
