It'd be cool, wouldn't it? It comes up a lot too.

Unfortunately, Newtonians far more technically savvy than I have declared it
impossible. If I recall correctly, connectors for the screen and keyboard
are different enough to intimidate even hardcore hardware hackers.

And as for the analogy... It'd probably be more like cramming one of VW's
new W8 engines into a New Beetle. You'd have to cut and squeeze and tuck and
prod, plus modify a bunch of parts, and in the end you might end up with
something very fast or you might end up with just a mess.
