Try SyChip
(http://www.sychip.com) They have developed a CF GPS unit that you may

Nb I have played about with the GPS2020 modules and I can recommend
them, they have a fast lock time and good sensitivity, I am
considering building a small serial GPS unit around one (unfortunately
my skills do not extend to PCMCIA)
