Can't insure a Global Priority package and you
probably can't fit the emate inside the 9x12 envelope
anyway. The post office website has a good postage
calculator at www.usps.com. The best you could do is
about $35 insured not counting packaging costs or
"handling" charges.
$100 is much more than it should be but I always ask
for a shipping quote BEFORE bidding. This type of
thing is filed under "Lessons Learned."
