Re: [NTLK] LocalTalk/EtherTalk and Printer

LOL. Okay, I have a LaserWriter which I also love. However, even when
using 24 pound paper I get a *bit* of curling. If I don't take the paper
out as it prints and put it on a flat surface under a heavy book, I can
get some serious curl (curlage?). Any advice, Victor and/or Laurent?

Personal LaserWriter NTR! Personal LaserWriter NTR! Rah! Rah! Rah!!!

What can I say, I love my printer (it's a... Personal LaserWriter NTR!)
and I
don't care who knows it! Except for my girlfriend perhaps ;)

For those who don't know, the NTR is a 10ish year old Apple laser
printer.
It's great because it has three interfaces: Apple Serial, PC DB9
Serial, and
Parallel. So I can print directly from my Newt using serial AppleTalk,
and
also have it plugged into my Linux box running a print server using the

parallel port, and have all the rest of the machines in my apartment
print to
it as well.

I'm done now :)

That's pretty much it. I can print no problem from my 2100 to my
Personal
LaserWriter NTR that is on LocalTalk, while the Newton is on Ethernet.
I
have the AsanteTalk as a bridge and the Newton has no problem to see
the
printer. Keep all settings set on Ethernet and make sure that AppleTalk
on
your Newton is set to use your Ethernet card.
