Make sure AppleTalk is active both in Classic and in OS X. In Classic, you
need to navigate to the control panels folder inside the system folder to
launch "AppleTalk". In OS X, the setting is in the Network pane of the
system preferences application. There is a tab specially labeled
"AppleTalk".
