Hi, Richard,

you are misinterpreting this picture. Let me explain: This SS-Rune is on a
sign, which blames the other team's supporters (some of them) of behaving
racistic in former games.

Sadly this fascist thing is (a minor) part of football in germany (and
england, and poland, and italy and so on) but it is NOT the real stuff, this
is why loads of supporters fight these tendencies, as the fans of FD do on
these pictures.

Sorry you have misunderstood that, I should have been aware of
misinterpretations.

I am particularly disturbed by the proud use of the SS emblem in the
large banner. The SS (Schutz-Staffel - aka the 'Blackshirts') was
Hitler's elite bodyguard and despite having "the right stuff", was
responsible for many atrocities. The 'SS' emblem is designed in the
style of a double lightning strike or 'blitz', calling to mind the
famous 'blitz krieg' tactics of rapid and ruthless invasion of
defenseless neighbouring countries.
