Check the Newtontalk Archives. I remember someone talking about the GPS
they had connected to their Newton a few weeks ago.

I'd think the most reasonable portable GPS option for a computer would
be either serial or USB rather than PCMCIA, though you might have more
luck trying to find a CompactFlash based one instead, then use a
PCMCIA/CF adapter card. However, the drivers and accompanying software
would need to be written from scratch, and would probably be a rather
immense job to make one work on a Newton.

Though with dual PCMCIA slots, the Newton just seems -perfect- for
warwalking with a GPS card and a WiFi, doesn't it? Shame. :/

Are there any GPS PC cards that aren't CardBus based and that dart cost
more than a whole GPS station with monitor and everything like you'd put
in a car? (There was a thread on MacSlash a while ago about useful/fun
things you could do witht the PC Card slot on the TiBook and one person
suggested a GPS modules, and another person pointed out that one card
they
found actually cost more than a standslone unit, which doesn't make much
since, unless it's a low-demand thing)
