I use PowerPrefs to freeze pkgs.
You could buy another Newton keyboard, I think I saw one at TON's
swapmeet page for $45.
And ad for your Palm VIIx, you could try trading on the Pilot PDA
email list (email pilot-pda-digest-subscribe_at_freeside.ultraviolet.org
to subscribe).
