The nofx.pkg has 4 checkboxes and one is to remove the animated trashing.
The others remove sounds and I'm not shure about the extras drawer.
BTW, nScribe lets you execute the commands, given in Laurents last post, in
notes via the assist function. The preceeding keyword there is 'inspect'.
