 I figured out the problem. I wasn't changing the modem settings in the
Internet Setup as well as the mail setup. I'm a little rusty in my Newton
use, and I forgot that changing the modem prefs in one area doesn't
automatically make the same adjustment elsewhere. Thanks for the help.
