FYI, there are also Bronze and Bronze Turbo cards. The Bronzes do not
support *any* WEP encryption. IIRC, the difference between the Bronze and
Bronze Turbo is that that turbo supports 5.5mbit while the regular is
limited to 2mbit.

In theory, they should also work with the WaveLan driver. We'll see later
this week when my 2000U gets here. :-)

What exactly is the difference between all the various flavors of
WaveLan cards out there? I've gathered that the difference between the
Silver and Gold cards is the level of WEP encryption, and it everywhere
seems to refer to Orinocco as if it is just a renaming of WaveLan Turbo
(Hmm, someone in the marketing division is an Enya fan?). but I've also
here that the Orinocco cards won't work with the Newton - yet - does
that mean that they not only changed the name, but changed the protocol
as well? And then does anyone know the difference between the A and B
Wavelan cards, and which ones will definitely work with the Newton?

Jim
