Dave Watson used to upgrade the MP2000 for $75.00 with the "EXACT
part Apple used" (these are his words). It's my understanding
he just contacted the manufacturer and ordered the chipset.
They weren't proprietary Apple products or anything. Here's

I don't know if he's still doing the upgrade or not, but Newton
users were VERY happy with his work...
