This is true. In case the NIC connector is lost, as in one of my MP2100, the
SER-001 is a replacement w/o the audio signals and auto-wakup functionality.
If both NIC and SER-001 are present only one should be used at the time. I
think the Newton gets confused if one connects two kbds at the time to it.
Has anyone tried this?
