[NTLK] Be Wary of eBay

I'm a current eMate owner (it had been in storage for years, just brought it
back out), and I started lurking again about two weeks ago after a two year
hiatus from the list. The current going price of an MP 2100 is very
tempting, so I was looking around on eBay to see if someone could top Gem's
bulk prices. One distributor claiming to have Newtons up with "no reserve"
is listed as DelvalDiscount, and I honestly would not take the chance of
buying from them. I don't know what anyone's experiences may have been, but
having watched their auctions, they seem to be rigged in such a way that
there's a new bidder set up to raise the price on the items up to a certain
point, and that bidder is probably just someone associated with
DelvalDiscount, as I have seen three separate brand new user names being
used to accomplish this. The negative feedback on them is also discouraging.
Lastly, the very similar post times of "ORIGINAL" and "UPGRADED" auctions
makes me wonder if they even have all the Newts they're auctioning. I would
suggest not buying from them, having seen friends burned on eBay in the
past.
