steve weyer very cunningly used Newton's built in book reader to
render html pages, so newtscape may be the only sensible way of
viewing web pages on a 120. i vaguely recall running it on a 120
years ago, but i think nethopper needed at least a 130. if it works,
expect it to be slow. also i would recommend preparing with the heap
saving measures that i described in my message about simplemail on
the 120 before trying to visit sites. namely, set freeback as the
backdrop, reset with everything frozen, then enable
newtscape+bits+nie. newtscape's interface is clunky but features,
speed and function make it one of the most impressive newton
programmes ever. for instance, you can write html on your mp and
newtscape will turn it into a newton book and save it to your extras
drawer. or save web pages/sites as newton books. or download
packages. or do about a thousand other useful or fun things. it is
definitely worth a try as the app is only a few hundred k which is
pretty lean for a feature-rich web browser. check out
