Here's a quick rundown/comparison from facts in my brain:

NetHopper 3.2

-No longer supported
-Supports GIFs, no JPEGs, no PNGs
-Renders pages in its own window
-Can install packages from web, but very picky about MIME types
-Only runs under OS 2.1 - older versions run under OS 2.0
-Bookmark manager??
-Scheduled downloads via external program
-Can't save pages easily
-In particular, is NOT HTTP 1.1 compliant

Newt's Cape 2.1

-Still supported
-Supports animated GIFs, JPEGs via plugin, no PNGs

-Has plugins for many different things: viewing PalmDOC books, Waba applets in

-Can execute NewtonScript in web pages

-Has bookmark manager with scheduling support

As for what is faster, well, I haven't touched NetHopper in a long time. It
might take some time for Newt's Cape to fully render a page but the things
you can do with it once it's been rendered is quite extensive and worth it. I use it most often to browse the IMDB from =
the couch.
