The MP2100 was supposed to be Newton, Inc.'s first product, and as such the
case was designed to sport the newton logo, not Apple's logo. But then Steve
came back, and spun Newton, Inc. back into Apple, so the Apple logo on the
MP2100 case was a bit of an afterthought, really.

That also makes the MP2100 the only Apple product to ship without the metal
badge from the time of the Apple II until the original iMac was released.
