I have to say that I haven't had any problems with this company.
I bought my newton (replacing mine after six years) from them about a month
ago. It arrived exactly as it was described. They didn't accept paypal,
but it wasn't a big deal for me to set up an account at a place that they
did accept.
If I were to buy a newton today, I'd go through JKsales. I'd only go
through them to save a few dollars, not because GEMenterises didn't come
through.
I purchased a few extras through JKsales (A connection cable and AA battery
cage). I recently purchased another newton carrying case through
GEMenterprises it hasn't arrived, I'm not worried about it's condition when
it arrives
As far as shipping charges go; I really have no problem with a business
picking up a couple extra dollars on shipping. You have to pay for the
materials and time for someone to box up your package. Most mail order
companies pick up a few extra of profit on shipping. Why should
GEMenterprises be any other way?
The only problem I had with GEMententerprises was the packing
material. They use shredded newspaper. When I popped open the package it
caused quite a mess in my living room. This is a pretty petty problem.
