Maybe I have something to add to this topic. Both my current and previous
MPs, 2100 & 2000 respectively, did not align quite right. That is, if I
went through the pen alignment exercise & tapped right in the center of
the Xs, pen alignment would still be slightly off--but in different
directions in different parts of the screen.

I found I was able to work around this by strategically tapping slightly
off-center when presented with the Xs.
