I see a number of interesting references here to Bluetooth serial adapters
-- some of them specifically claiming to require no software on the client.

Now in theory this seems to suggest that I could plug one of these into my
Newt's serial port (NIC to dongle to cable to Bluetooth adapter) and
connect to a Windows box via bluetooth to run any standard serial
applications (NCU, X-Port, Outlink, etc.)
Any thoughts on this from Bluetooth experts? Of course IrDA should have
been this simple but wasn't -- however, nobody ever advertised
cable-replacement, no-driver-required IRDA so this seems like a different
animal.
Worth a try?
