[NTLK] Mapping software for Newton - with Australian Maps?

Is there any kind of software out there that has (support for) Australian
maps? At a pinch, is there some kind of package or tool that allows you to
import a large-ish scan of a Melways or UBD page and scroll/zoom around
that?

Have any Australian users tried accessing whereis.com.au from their Newtons?
