1) the monetary mismanagement of Newton, Inc., by Sandy Bennett..

2) the infantile vindictive actions of steve jobs..

there are 100 versions of why the Newton was discontinued, and each one has a shred of truth to them..

all i know is that i can't buy a brand new Newton..

that is a modern computing tradgedy..

so, i lift my middle fingers to the status quo, and continue with my Newton.. as i do with my Mac..
