Greeetings!

Well, as much as I would love to continue again with the Newton, I am
finding that I do not have as much time as I thought I would, to be able
to use it and integrate it into my daily life...

I also need a new cellphone - and quickly!

So who benefits from my hour of despair? YOU DO! :)

Also, I know that there are others that would love to have one of these,
too. It shouldn't be sitting idle in my hands when there are others
out there that could give it a nice home where it's nurtured and used
daily...

So, I am selling the following:

        - [1] Newton 2000 Message Pad [upgraded to 2100 - 4MB RAM]
        - [2] eMate Stylus
        - [1] 2000/2100 Rechargable Battery Pack [unguaranteed by GEM]
        - [1] 2000/2100 Rechargable Battery Pack [guaranteed by GEM]
        - [1] Leather Case [fliptop style, 2 metal rings on back]
I paid $200.00 for this package from GEM.
Have owned it about a month.

        - [1] Newton 2000/2100 AA Battery Cage [use w/ alkaline batteries]
                I paid $55.00 for this.
                Brand new.
                Never used.

        - [1] D-Link DWL-650 802.11 Wireless LAN Card [PCMCIA]
                I paid $59.00 [+ shipping] for this.
Rarely used, and in "mint condition".
Works with the Newton [with Hiroshi's drivers, of course]

All items are in excellent working condition. the battery cage was just
purchased a few weeks ago, as was the D-Link WLAN card. The Newt has been
in my hands about a month.

The Newton is from GEM, and is in great shape - screen is very nice, no
damage to the case, other than some kind of adhesive that is on the back
case, about a centimeter tall by about 4 centimeters wide. I am sure you
could get it off if you tried.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am asking a price of $250.00 [or best offer] for the whole she-bang.

I think thats a good deal, since this is all mostly used stuff, and I
posted the prices that I paid for it all, even.

I'd like to keep it all as a package, if possible. :)
If not, thats fine as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I desparately need a new cellphone, as my old one is crapping out in a
serious fashion - and I need to take care of that ASAP - as being able to
talk to relatives is a bit more important than puzzling over Newton stuff
- no offense meant! I just wish I had more time to geek with the Newt.

But priorities are priorities, and the phone wins out.

Let me know if you are interested.
Paypal is preferred method of payment.

We can work out shipping as well - you can even post-pay the shipping once
I send it out, so we can nail that to the penny. I've found thats the
best way to go, so that shipping is not over or under charged.

You choose how its shipped.

I will ship via UPS [and you can reimburse me], or you can give me a
FedEx/UPS number, and I can do it that way.

I will be shipping this from Michigan.

That's all. First-come, first-served, I will let people know what is
available if the lot is not sold in a total package.

Thanks for your time, and for all of your efforts in keeping a great
platform alive and kicking even though most say its "dead". :)
