Re: [NTLK] SFNUG?

well, that makes three, so far.

i'm willing to set up a mailing list (if we need to split the traffic
from newtontalk), set up a basic web presence (hmm, iCal sfbanug
calendar, anyone?), and take care of meeting details. i suggest meeting
no more than once a month. maybe once every other. i would prefer that
the meetings be in the city, as it's easy to get to from the east bay
via bart, south bay people drive, anyway, and i don't, which would damn
me to eternity on caltrain before meetings.

and i agree that the user group should be bay area-wide. we can't use
banug, through, because that's the acronym for the bay area next user
group, which is still fairly active (they even meet at one infinite
loop). we need a name other than sfbanug (which is rediculous). any
ideas?

if you're in the bay area and interested, let me know. we'll continue
to discuss days, times, locations and the like, of course. folks are
free to email me directly or they can simply email newtontalk.

lanug people, how hard was it to get registered as an apple user group?
i did it once for our campus user group, but that was a long time ago.
