You would think that QT is opening the .png on Mozilla/Chimera as well,
though. And the weird part is that if you populate the image's source
from JavaScript, even using something like this:
<img src="myimage.png" onload="if (IsIE()) this.src=this.src)">
it works fine. Of course that circular logic causes a BSOD on Windows.
I filed a bug in Apple's internal MSIE bug database, which the MS Mac
group supposedly looks at.
