There was a thread about this a while back, but for some reason I can't
find the darned thing. Every now and then my Newton's alarm goes off
at 3:00 am. Is it doing some kind of maintenance? Is there any way I
can make it NOT set the alarm off?

- a rude awakening by your Newton at 3 AM simply means that an unattended
alarm is still active. It's the tamagochi feature of Newton. Nuutogochi?

- Newtons do all their housecleaning at 3 AM local: move ToDo list, set
daily alarms, etc. Some of you may have noticed the backlight come on, or
just the whine of the transformer start up.

- Solution - tend to your Newton each and every bedtime. See what's on your
plate for tomorrow -- remember your friends' birthdays -- ...remember that
it's your anniversary.
