x.2 runs just fine on my 8600 w/ g3 and 8500 w/ g3 card.

I've used this since the early betas (unsupported utility x) and it's
just simply awesome.

x.2 will require a g3 (no 604 or less, like 10.1 could use)

the major issue besides ram, is the bus speed will be an issue. it's
useable for the simple os functions. Games a dvd playback are 2 big
problems that the bus will be an obvious hinderance.
