I just had the craziest idea...
Take a dummy PC card, and a thin piece of wood. Cut that piece of wood
into the shape of the PC card, notches and channels included, and then
put a thin coating of epoxy on it (to keep the splinters out of your
newt). It would take a steady hand, but I'd bet it could be done!
