Hm. I was thinking attached keyboard. Imagine a mechanism where the keyboard
can be attached, kind of like that one that is available for the 1x0 series,
whose name I forget at the moment. Actually, I'm guessing that they tried to
prepare for multiple possibilities when they built this thing. In other
words, put as much into the Newton as they could think of, to leave the most
options available for future growth. I wonder if there were documents
available that give the specs for these things, and ideas for how to use
them, or if the Newton team never got that far...
