I did find a bug in the code that I had added to disable the
registration key; careless mistake, really. I re-posted. I also linked
to the FilePad stuff from my main Newton page. And the download that's
posted is now a Stuffit file instead of a dmg.
I'm hoping that a third-party developer will pick up the FilePad nSync
plug-in... it means that you can take practically any information on
your Mac and put it on your Newton. In theory, you could sync with any
database, such as OpenBase, FrontBase, MySQL, FileMaker, and many more.
Even as a standalone database, FilePad is very capable, especially for
a free product. I used to charge $89 for it in the Newton's heyday, and
it sold very well.
