i bought a dayna etherprint 10 on ebay for 40$ and hooked it to my
laserwriter( from the inaugural year of clintonicity, 1992) and OS X 10.2.1
as well as newton via ethernet (wired not wireless) can both print to it..

It's been a long time since I knew any details, but have you heard of
'Netatalk'? Try googling for it, IIRC it was sorta like having an
AppleShare Server on your UN*X box.

I'm guessing then that AppleTalk Bridge (or whatever its called) doesn't
