Not that I know of. I use NetHopper on my 2100 and it can't get into any of my mail via web. Most require Java and cookies.
With SimpleMail and a pile of other things installed, I still have about 500K left on the internal store of my eMate. About 3MB of other aps and storage are on a 6MB card. I eject the card and use a PCMCIA modem with my cell phone for email. It's a little awkward but it works.
