Hi,
I just got two 2100s for my kids, but all the small bits were removed.
I've dug out an old 120 to use as a hub in a sneaker net untill we get
some NICs. The power problem I could use some help with. Best would be
to find some cheap dead Newton battery packs to refurb. 2nd choice would
be to build an external pack out of "C" or "D" NmH, or Lithium ion
squares to plug into the AC adapter port, Google didn't return any DIY
pages for this. Did I miss one? Or as the last choice, buy a good pack
or cage :(
6 "C" cells would give 7.2 Volts, almost what the 2000 AC adapter is
rated at, is there any gotchas to worry about? Anybody know the Radio
Shack part # for the connector to plug into the adaptor port?
TIA,
Travis
