My son uses an eMate in school and has since grade 5. Normally he
prints directed to Apple and some HP Laserjets (PrintPack cable) in
school, but long documents take far too long to print. He has asked the
tech coordinator at his high school to load NCU to the Macs in the
library so he can upload into the Macs (or PC's) and print from them
(much faster).
The problem is that the school is worried about the NCU licensing, even
though they have some eMates (seldom used) in the school system.
What are the legal ramifications of loading NCU on school Macs or PC's?
