[NTLK] Shared Info using backup/restore

I had thought that setting up a card with data and applications
backed up on it would be an easy way to share date between several
newtons by simply restoring updated info as necessary. This didn't
work well on my first try between an emate and a 2100 and I'm
wondering if there is a better strategy someone can recommend or some
reasons why this can't work.
