[NTLK] Flash support? USB support? (was: ATA Support)

I'm wondering about other "media".

A local store has a special on this week. SanDisk 128MB CompactFlash
and SmartMedia cards for under US$50. Yes, I know they need the carrier
to fir in the PCMCIA slot. But this seems a good price. Great if it
works. Does it? Has anyone tried?

Then there are the the things like the Acom MultiFlash 6-format memory
card readers.

Then there are the USB Pen memories ...

OK, so the USB stuff needs one of the USB i/f PCMCIA cards.

Speaking of which, USB gives access to printers, keyboards, wireless,
ZIP and floppy, cameras, scanners ....

There's a lot of PCMCIA stuff that wasn't thought of when the Newton was
developed. How much of it can we use today?

It is against the grain of modern education to teach children to
program.
What fun is there in making plans, acquiring discipline in organizing
thoughts, devoting attention to detail, and learning to be
self-critical?
