First the AC... it a center positivie DC plug. IIRC, the voltage should be
on the label on the bottom of the EtherWave. If not, I recall it being a
pretty wide range, so 7.5 or 9V will be fine.
As for cable... If you mean the one connect it to another computer or hub, a
straight cable will work fine. As someone else said, the EtherWave is the
equivalent of a 2-port hub, but can correct crossover automatically.
If you've got the multiple printer adapter, then the center connector is for
an RJ-11 (phone) cord to a PhoneNet.
I don't recall seeing any Newton drivers for the EtherWave (if anyone has
some, I'd like a copy), but it should work fine with the eMate as a dumb
LocalTalk bridge.
