I'll admit that I am not an electronics wiz. But, the specs of the zener
diodes that Digikey carries don't closely match those of the type that
Mr. PCBman suggested. I wouldn't know how far one could deviate from
those particular specs and still be safely within the specific
tolerances required by the eMate's circuits. Any cross reference tables
that I could google only came up with distributors listing bulk
quantities available for purchase.=20

Still remaining optimistic...would hate to see another one of our "green
friends" drop out of service!
