You have that backwards. Knoppix is based on Debian, not the other way
around.
For sheep_net you need to get a version of the kernel module rewritten for
the 2.4 kernel due to changes in the network internals. The version of
Basilisk II version 1.0 that ships with Mandrake has such a module.
