Hello again everyone,
I found a wireless 802.11b PCMCIA lan card at a store here for $35. It is a by a name I had never heard of nor remember now. I am tempted to buy it. I explained to the clerck that I wasnt sure it would work in my Newton (2100), and he offe.red to open the pkg and let me try it.
So, can someone advise Me What I need to have already on my Newton to be able to do an in-store check of the Card?
I currently have a 3 Com wired ethernet card that's setup properly, so I've got N I E setup OK. I also downloaded and installed Hiroshi's wave lan V 1.08 a driver, which I'm thinking I'll need because it's a 3.3 v card.
Anything else? Should I really try this with a no-name, 3.3 v card?
Any recommendations welcome!
