ie. it deletes everything on the disk, under unix there's no concept of d=
isks =
like dos so the command will wipe all disks mounted in the filesystem. Un=
der =
UNIX it's tricky to undelete things as well.
Having spent many years unix adminning I have the following advice.
day2day use: be a cretin user - have little or no permissions to do anyth=
ing =
to anything but your own files
installation of new software - root - and take it steady!
