hey all, looking for some help.
a while ago, i accidentally fried my 2000U motherboard by using the
wrong AC adaptor.
recently, i bought a 2100 board from J&K, and i got it in the mail
today. after not much trouble replacing the old one, i ran into some
trouble with the screen connector. difficult little ribbon cable to get
in, but i got it in, or so i thought.
tried powering it up, got the Newton bong, but nothing on screen.
backlight turned on as per normal, but nothing more.
so i removed power, unplugged the screen, and tried plugging it back in,
but now i can't even get a backlight, or any sound at all.
what'd i do? frying two Newts in a row'd make me (and my bank account)
quite the upset.. please help.
