Your network security is only as good as your physical security.
If you have a wired network and you can physically stop people from conne=

to it, then it's secure (attaching it to the net negates this statement o=

If you have a wireless network then people standing near to your network =

connect. It's like going out and leaving your door unlocked.
WEP will prevent most people from connecting.
