Il me semble que le 30/4/03 à 15:26 -0500, David M. Ensteness nous racontait:
>Well, I feel closer to success, I was a monkey and had not installed=20
>the Dock module yet, so I have that done ... now I can connect via=20
>TCP/IP and I am able to see both my Pismo and my G4, however, selecting=20=
>
>either one results in a Dock TCP/IP error: cannot reach the server. My=20=
>
>Pismo is via a graphite AirPort basestation and my G4 is straight=20
>through a switch. Both give the same result.
Is the firewall disabled?
Are the Newton and the Mac on the same subnet?
Can you access other servers on the Mac like Apache (the web server
you start from the Sharing preferences) with Newtscape?
If you can see the Mac, UDP packets pass through.
Connecting requires that (a) Newton packets can reach your Mac, (b)
your Mac can send packets that will reach the Newton.
You need to allow TCP/IP packets on port 3679.
