We almost need an annual 'design a newton' contest with a few categories:

"Newton 2003" - design a believable Newt that would have evolved to
incorporate modern technologies
"Future Newton" - design a Newt of the future incorporating bleeding edge
design and technology that is in not yet in production but is in R & D
"Fantasy Newton" - anything goes for the Newt of 2100AD and beyond

and of course a "Kids Newt" for those to young to remember (or grown ups
to old to forget ;-)
