Hi all. After rebooting my 2100 this evening, my 32MB flash card is
suddenly freezing the Newt during package activation (same package
each time). I have to do a hard reset to get the Newton unfrozen, and
then as soon as it tries to active that package on the card, it
freezes again.
Anyone have any ideas for workarounds -- any way of telling the
Newton to not activate the packages on the card upon insertion? Then
I could at least delete the offending package. I wouldn't even mind
just erasing the card, as I have a recent backup of it. I do need to
get it working again though because the 4MB of built-in RAM are
nowhere near enough.
For what it's worth, I do not have access to another Newton capable
of reading the card.
Assistance very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
