[NTLK] new 2100 can't connect via ppp

I just got a new 2100 and can't seem to get it to connect via ppp to
anything. As soon as it goes through the NIE cycle, it stops at ppp
and posts a -16022 error.

I tried to assign a specific PC card slot via my modem prefs as
suggested in the FAQ s, but still have not been able to get past this
ppp error. I tried deleting the NIE packages and reinstalling, and
still no luck.

I never had anything like this kind of trouble on my mp 130.
