By any chance do you have FilePad, the complete software?

Subject: [NTLK] advice

Folks, what would you do?

I have a good condition 2100 from JK sales with a paid for ATA driver.
Its screen is OK & backlight old but working. It is all intact with
doors and covers but a bit bashed.

I just bought a 2000 off Ebay, this thing is like brand new/mint even
and still in its bubble wrap. New pen and charger and keyboard.

Now when I start loading this 2000 up it will slow down I am sure but
want to hear your advice over these two options:

Should I just buy a memory upgrade from pixelsolution and give the 2000
a perk up? This way the ATA driver is wasted, OR

Should I take the guts from the 2100 and put it in the 2000 but keep
the new screen and enclosure? I am not happy at the risk of this major
Newton surgery!

What do you think?

On a side note, the box of stuff I purchased has the following in that
I do not recognise and am willing to sell/swap:

A 9W Newton 2X00 Power adapter still in box (with original price
sticker)

A long unused Newton stylus - I think from a 100/130 series. It doesn't
extend and has a silver portion and the rest is black plastic with NO
bite marks.

An older Newton charger dated 1993. It is a lot smaller than than the
2X00.

A plastic case and inside is what appears to be four rechargable
batteries held together with a metal clip. Part Number H0088.

There is a load of other floppy disks that I'll detail later if anyone
is interested and their associated booklets manuals.

Let me know your opinions, especially if you have had the upgrade from
pixelsolution.

Cheers gang.
