I agree with much that has already been said and it's a matter of
discrininating between needs and wants.
What it comes down to for me is the combination of excellent HWR and a
really good outliner/checklist package. Like Paul, it means I can take and
make structured notes anywhere, anytime and all day if necessary.
The Newt OS is a nice place to be, I trust the machine will keep my data
sacred and all the other packages that are my personal world are there when
I need them, but notetaking and fast retrieval are the cornerstone.
It might be nice to have the Clie capabilites now and again but would I
actually make any use of them for something other than a pastime? I doubt
it.
If I'm going to lug around something it had better do what I really need
and, for now, only a Newt can do it.
